Mobile OTA (Over The Air) Testing

Absolute Quality provide basic over-the-air testing as a part of general test processes to ensure products download to wireless devices via the Push OTA Protocol, etc. However, OTA testing can be further adapted and test processes customised for products that rely predominantly on OTA technology or use sophisticated OTA functionality, such as location based SMS messaging, etc.

General over-the-air checks may include device and network connectivity settings or firmware settings when testing cross-network or cross-device. Sophisticated or OTA reliant functionality includes subscription based services, automated services and updates or products integrating messaging, mobility or location based functionality. OTA functionality also provides the ability to update mobile software or updates and quality assurance test processes can be implemented to test OTA based product patches, updates or add-ons.
